Ninth Snake of the Season (I KNOW!)

I promise I'm not obsessed with snakes.

We're just very reptilian in this neck of the woods these days.

Maybe it's the weather?

After running around town with my friend Becky all afternoon, I came home to find my hubbers holding our winter snow coaster (think Chevy Chase in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation) with this little snake in it. It's a red-bellied snake (about 12 inches), so it's very little and very wiggly.

There's a thin red stripe down it's back.

Nothing says "Welcome Home" like a fresh snake, you know?
