This week is the annual North Carolina Speech Hearing and Language Convention. Fortunately for me, it's in Raleigh this year, so I get to visit my BFF, Andrea. She (and her precious hubbers, Isaac) are graciously letting me stay with them. I love being with both of them. Of course, it's nice not to pay a hotel fee (on top of paying convention fees and losing a day's pay to be here), but it's so relaxing to be with them. As I'm sure my blogging audience knows, Andrea and Isaac just got married in September, but it feels like Isaac has already been around. After being gone all day, it's really like coming home when I walk through their door and spend time with them.
I've been disappointed at the information in the sessions I went to today. I think I am just not "in the mood" (that sounds silly) to sit for hours at a time and learn. And while I know that I am far from an expert in the field of speech pathology, the information that I heard was nothing that I didn't already know. So, that means that I just had to sit there and pass notes with my girlfriends. Just like I did in high school. Only this time the teacher didn't catch me and have me bring it to her.

We can all be sweet and kind, yes? I am so thankful when my Wonder Readers share their positive thoughts with me!
