And Sometimes Those Projects Actually Do Get Finished

Remember our Wonder TV Cabinet that we scored from Craigslist for $75? This is what it looked like when we bought it. I've had the refinishing part done for quite a bit, but have neglected to post a picture. Sorry for all the sleepless nights I've brought to your lives.
Here's what the changes included: sanding the entire cabinet and gel stain to make it darker. Funny thing: I was supposed to "paint" the stain on and then wipe it, but I forgot that part of gel stain work and just treated it like regular stain. The whole cabinet was stained before it occurred to me to pick up the can and read the directions. I've refinished a dresser (another summer project) that is now in our entry way and did it the right way that time. Whoops! However, I've gotten several compliments from people who have seen it in person, so I must not have goofed up too bad. We also changed the door pulls to match ones that are on the end tables in our living room. Glad to have it finished. On to my next Summer Project: painting the spindles on our entryway stairs.

We can all be sweet and kind, yes? I am so thankful when my Wonder Readers share their positive thoughts with me!
