Tonight Alan went to a church meeting so I was the one to put the boys into bed. This is highly unusual as that's typically their Special Daddy and Son Time. I always have a long reading time with the boys and then a prayer time before I tuck them in. Tonight we talked about who we needed to pray for and what we wanted to thank God for. We did that together, and then Matthew started talking about asking Jesus into his heart. Now, we've talked about what that means as it comes up in conversation fairly often over the past year. But tonight, he decided that was a decision he wanted to make. He and I prayed together. It was about the sweetest thing I've ever experienced. As I pulled the covers up around him a few minutes later, he said, "You know what, Mama? I think I love God more than anyone."
What a blessing and a joy. Thank you and Alan for all you have done. A blessing coming at a time we need blessings to flow. Janice
