Oh, My Gracious, You Have GOT To Be Kidding Me

So. I went into Michael's room today to straighten up a bit since I had a friend (hi Paula!) coming over for lunch, and I didn't want to frighten her with the chaos that is his room. Side note: Paula and I had not seen each other since 8th grade. That is one of the positive aspects to my relationship with Facebook.

But anyway, I'm putting things away and finding "treasures" (re: crud) that I felt properly belonged in the trashcan. And it's always a good idea to toss them while your son is at preschool and not aware of this transgression. So, as I toss the lobster claws and broken mussel shells and unworthy school papers in his trashcan, I notice that there is some pink insulation and blue styrofoam in there. What?? And then I notice a BIG pile of it behind the trashcan. And then I look up and see the following:
And I know it's a crummy picture, but you can certainly tell that THAT IDIOT SQUIRREL IS TRYING TO COME IN MICHAEL'S ROOM FOR A SLEEPOVER. Seriously, I wanted to cry. What you might not be able to tell is that the hole is about six inches by four inches. So, if that doggone squirrel wanted to squeeze his siamese twin in with him, HE COULD.

We can all be sweet and kind, yes? I am so thankful when my Wonder Readers share their positive thoughts with me!
