Alan:
- has applied at countless (ummm....maybe seven-ish) places
- created a "need a job" website (not as needy as I just made it sound)
- has had two phone interviews for different places - one of which was for a job in (please sit down) Indianapolis. As in Indiana.
- hopefully will have a fact-to-face interview coming up in Lexington within the week
- has (at least) some small bit of hope and encouragement every day - we are feeling your prayers
Julie:
- went back to work today after two-ish weeks off
- needed more sleep than she got last night
- couldn't bill the school for all the hours she actually worked
- would have preferred snow to the torrential rain
- was thankful to see her co-workers again; semi-thankful to see her students :)
- feels fortunate for a ummm...change in administration
- is thanking God for her job
Great news on Alan's prospects. But no Indiana! My dad was actually born in Indianapolis and lived there till they moved to Chicago when he was 9. We'll move you to Raleigh before we move you to Indy (although Indy IS a very nice town).
